Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO)

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Chief Business Development Officer to drive our growth strategy and establish key partnerships in the crypto/web3 space. As CBDO, you'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic relationships, and expanding our market presence globally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies aligned with company vision
• Identify and pursue strategic partnerships, collaborations, and integration opportunities with protocols, exchanges, and web3 projects
• Lead negotiations for high-value deals and partnerships
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, investors, and industry leaders
• Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities
• Represent the company at conferences, events, and in the broader crypto community
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and technical teams to align BD initiatives
• Drive revenue growth through new channels and business models
• Manage and mentor the business development team
• Report directly to CEO on BD performance metrics and pipeline

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales
• 2+ years in a leadership or executive role
• Strong experience in crypto/web3 or fintech
• Proven track record of closing high-value deals and partnerships
• Experience working cross-functionally with product, marketing, and tech teams
• Strong network within the web3 or startup ecosystem

• Experience working with exchanges, protocols, or DeFi projects
• Fundraising or investor relations experience
• Global market expansion experience
• Strong personal brand or presence in the crypto space
